Atop Technologies, Inc. presents series industrial product - wireless serial server- 802.11g . This Atop Serial Server provides uClinux/Linux SDK platform for easy programming into your own devices.

The Atop Wireless Serial Server is structured on Linux platform which offers a wireless network interface IEEE802.11g with a bandwidth of 54Mbps. It supports full-duplex and bi-directional data transmission to be transparent between serial port and Wireless LAN.

By using this unit, limited distance point-to-point direct serial connections can now be extended within the plant, throughout the facility or across the global enterprise. With its optional high-gain antenna, you may increase the communication distance up to 3Km. It is an ideally cost-effective product specially designed for environments where cabling is difficult and where long distance communications is required.
